What we collect
We collect only what you type into our forms: scholarship applications, references, event interest signups, newsletter signups, and contact messages. We do not buy data about you or track you across other websites.
How we use it
Application and reference data is used to review candidates and administer awards. Contact messages are used to reply to you. Newsletter and event signups are used to send the updates you asked for, once our mailing program is active. Nothing is sold or rented to anyone, ever.
Where it lives
Form submissions are stored in a secured database (Supabase) accessible only to the board. The public-facing site can write submissions but cannot read them back.
Donations
Gifts are processed by Givebutter on their platform. We never see or store your card details. Givebutter's own privacy policy governs payment data.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not currently run analytics or advertising trackers. If we adopt privacy-respecting analytics in the future, this policy will be updated first.
Your choices
You can ask us to correct or delete your information at any time through the contact page. Newsletter emails will include an unsubscribe link once the mailing program launches.
Minors
Applicants may be high school seniors under 18. We collect only the information needed to evaluate an application, and a parent or guardian may contact us about a minor's data at any time.
